RISTORe BED Campaign

Damascus House Community Development Corporation (DHCDC) was established in 2011 with the goal of decreasing recidivism within Prince George’s County by developing a comprehensive therapeutic transitional housing program: RISTORe: Rehabilitating Individuals So They Overcome Recidivism.

In 2020 the State of Maryland will release thousands of individuals from jail and prison.

Prince George’s County will be home to many of them. Lack of stable housing is a major stumbling block for returning citizens; it is a major contributor to them re- offending and returning to jail!

In partnership with Cornerstone Ministries, DHCDC-RISTORe provides transitional housing for up to 24 months.

In addition to housing we facilitate, and also implement, individual treatment plans that include workforce development, designed to holistically transition individuals to successful independent living.

Join with us to Build, Educate, & Develop lives by contributing to the RISTORe BED CAMPAIGN.
